The Wal-Mart nearest me seems to be dropping what little Collector Barbie they carry.
They marked down everything this week. They only put out the denim Basics about two months ago, and never restocked them, after the first bunch got picked over.
I grabbed a few good dolls, but left disappointed. The black dress dolls were restocked almost monthly, for a year.

The Wal-Mart by me never even got the Barbie Jeans Basics. The sign was up, but no dolls.
I have found some store got rid of the Basics and collector sections some time ago. I have found few places that even got the dolls from the denim & now the Red collection.
At least I'm not the only one. When I go out of my way to visit other stores, it's always a bust. Wal-Mart is so close, I don't feel as foolish after leaving.
