Spotted new EPI "Fresh Dolls" at Walmart today.

I wish the company all the best, but I don't think these live up to the bar set by the Prettie Girls.  The giftsets were around $25, I forget what the single doll costs.  The faces are really that long, it's not distortion from my crummy cellphone camera.  The single fashions are $4.99, I think they will probably sell before the dolls.

Spotted new~ish Barbie fashions & cute Kelly variation

I didn't buy anything.

Fashions!  If you have a seam ripper, you could remake pale Desiree's skirt and pair it with that top.

I also noticed this really cute Kelly/Chelsea friend variant.  I forgot to check the countries of manufacture.  They have completely different facial screening.  They're the same height in the box.  I thought about buying the one on the left, but one eye was higher on the head.  Its so bad, it even showed up in the photo.  I cant believe they're charging $7 for a Kelly with a molded top, blah.

Here's a Barbie shoe giftset from Big Lots.  This would be pretty tempting if the colors were a bit better.  I think it's old~ish, I may have passed it by several times.  It's not a bad price.

Here are two giftsets from Big Lots' imported clone, Lovely Patsy.  Honestly, they're pretty cheap.

Two Clone Fashions

Here's the hipster kitty fashion from Sparkle Girls.  I'm genuinely impressed by the stitching on the top.  Unfortunately, it's too small to completely close in the back, and the right shoulder had a hole blown in it by the plastic tag.

Here it is on my current favorite Barbie Fashionista.

Here's the Dollar Tree fashion.  Most of these had sold before I went back, I was only able to get one with poor top stitching on the shirt hem.  I'll try to fix that myself eventually.

Here it is on a doll.  The pants barely fit, the fit problems with both of these may be the new Barbie body.

I mix them up.

New Sparkle Girlz fashion assortment part 2

Here is the second part.

First, here's the one I did buy, a hipster glasses cat crop top.  The print appears to just be a decal instead of screen print, but it's decent quality.  The stitching on this one was as decent, or even better, than some Mattel.

Now, to the others.  Here's my favorite polyester print on a cocktail dress.  The top has a net overlay, too bad the raspberry pink color doesn't really go with the print.

Here's the print worked into another dress.

This mini dress might be made from another sector of the same print, I don't know.

Here's a cute 1990's version of 1960's fashion.  I may have to crawl back and buy this next week.  I love that skirt.

It's a shame this skirt wasn't the same fabric front and back.  I would have bought it.

Here's the last of them.  There were a few other styles in the display that were either duplicates of past styles, or leftovers crammed in by a Walmart employee.
