The color of Katsilk nylon 809 purple

I was photographing a Liv wig for eBay, and thought I'd make a comparison with Katsilk 809 and some other recently released purple doll things.  It is a nice color.

Liv Twist n Dance Katie

Just like all the other dancing Livs, I think she's pretty enough. It's sad to find out that the Liv line has officially been canceled as of 2013. I think the Dancing Livs were the last nail in Liv's coffin. They were as expensive as the original dolls, but without the extra wig and accessories. They can't sit or bend their legs, pretty bad for a line that promoted its jointing. It seems like the Nature sets didn't sell well enough, so they went into full glam mode the last year or so, and tried to out-Barbie Barbie at twice the price. I will miss them.

Liv Twist n Dance Hayden

This doll is very tempting to keep.  She's a peachy bohemian, too bad she doesn't have a normal body.

Twist n Dance Liv Daniela

The color palettes for these dolls were very well selected. This doll is all glittering gold and bronze. I like everything about this doll, except the head mold. I want to love it, but I can't even really like it

I love the amount of realistic detail put into the purse. I don't even mind the glitter on the face, it works well enough.

Liv fashion mini hoard

I picked these up back at Christmas.  I found the coats for $3 each, and purchased the new County Fair fashion at full price, to support the line.  My local stores don't stock much from Liv anymore.  I really like the fashions, and hope the line can continue.  It looks like the website codes have been dropped.

Liv Twist n Dance Sophie

I grabbed all five of these girls back before Christmas, just for their clothes and possibly wigs. I've kept them around MIB for a while, because they are fairy cute, I didn't want to regret selling off the dolls. I've got too much stuff, and I've got to get going, because the space doesn't clear itself.

I'm starting off with Sophie, I can't help but think of these girls as a band, and Sophie is the lead singer. With the Electro-Pop Dynamite Girls, Twist n Dance Livs, and Goddess of the Galaxy Barbie, it seems the only company where Jem's spirit doesn't still live is Hasbro.

My only complaint with this fashion is the stay stitch used on the skirt instead of a real hem.

Liv doll Boutique Window Display playset

I really wanted this, and was thrilled when I picked it up on sale, but later realized that I just don't have the space for it. I wanted to build a diorama around them, but they're not to scale, so it would already be almost as much work as starting from scratch. They're hanging out on eBay. Here's a last look at the blonde Stardoll. I've got a ton of stuff to list, I want my space back.

Target Exclusive dolls (Playline)

I like the clothes on Sweetie and Sassy, but I'm not buying any more full price playline dolls just for the clothes. Especially not for 21.99, yikes! Sassy reminds me of Clash.

I can live without Gloom Beach Ghoulia. I'm not re-buying duplicate dolls, especially not for a series with so many poorly painted dolls.
