2015 Bratz Deluxe Fashion Packs OOTD

As you can see, I bought two packs at $3.50 each.  I bought them because I wanted the boots and spiky orange shoes.  Now they are in storage MIB, and I sort of regret buying them even at $3.50.  It feels like they should be more enjoyable than they are.

2015 Selfie Snaps Cloe

Here's the only other 2015 Bratz doll I bought, back in November for around $12.  They're now down to $8, or less.  I mostly just wanted her for her great hair color, and shoes.  Nothing else is too exciting.  I'm sure everyone who wanted one has already bought one for a pittance.  Poor new new new Bratz, they pleased parents, apparently not so much kids.

2015 Bratz Selfiesnaps Jade

This post was delayed since before Christmas, because malware messed up my old harddrive.  I ordered Jade from an Amazon sale, along with a book and some presents.  I came home one rainy day and saw Fed Ex had left my Amazon box on the grass, soaked.  Poor Jade was soggy, but her face paint was perfect, so I kept her.  It was a great excuse to debox.

I had to return the hardcover book that had turned into a sponge.  The other things in the box survived because they were stacked on top of the book and Jade.

Back to soggy Jade.  She dried out just fine, everything is polyester or plastic, anyway.  She's the only 2015 doll I really, really wanted.  My only complaints are the sloppy paint job on the shoes, and the unhemmed slit up the sides of the pants.  Everything else is cute.

My first sighting of 2015 Bratz are all Sashas.

I went to Walmart to pick up groceries, and thought to check.  So far, they only had cases of Sashas.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure how I feel about the new head mold, or the proportions of this eye print.  It's very big and flat in person, but at least they're colorful.  I guess it's fine for kids.  Shelf tags were not out yet, and I don't think any had sold.  They were smooshed in with the overflowing Monster High mob.

#Selfiesnaps is the most colorful one.  The novelty photo of her inside the box looks better than the actual doll.

The Hello My Name is Sasha doll's face seems almost identical to #Selfiesnaps, but with slightly different color choices.

Study Abroad Sasha at least got thicker eyebrows.  I'm not sure which I prefer.  This one has a 3mm hole its left eyebrow, oops.  The other copies of the doll were all intact.  I think the paint quality is slightly better overall than the final year of the old line.

Overall, it doesn't feel like this reboot took two years to plan.  I still want to see the others, they have at least one other eye print, and new colors and styling might create a completely different doll.  Even if I don't like any of them, I hope kids will.  The budget dolls always sold quickly in my area.

Bonus!  Boo York Catty Noir showed up, the paint is so thinned, the eyes are gray.  Boo!

Speaking of translucent eyes, they also got fresh stock of the Haunted dolls.  I think the concepts are pretty, but after seeing them in person, I don't want to own any of them.
