Fashionistas #51 Polka Dot Fun

I had her stacked on my shelf for over a year, and never bothered to open her, since she only has one or two poses.  Once she was free, I realized she really is much prettier out of the box.  I should have pulled her out sooner.

I wish the dress had been a solid color.  It's a nice cut, but it doesn't seem like a print an adult would wear.  Also, it reminds me of the opening credits for Cannon, pinnacle of televised fat jokes, probably not what Mattel wanted me to think about while looking at curvy Barbie.  At least the print is on both sides.

Fashionistas #80 Cheerful Check

This is the one I anticipated most from the Christmas wave.  It took me a while to find one I was satisfied with.  It's not a face I would buy infinite variations of, but I still love this one.

The dress is printed on both sides, but only because there's no shoulder seam.  I wish they could have bending legs, there's not too much they can do once they're out of the box.

Barbie Fashonistas #60 Patchwork Denim

I knew I had to own this one, for the lovely hair color alone.

Once I got her out of the box, I realized the eyebrows had been smudged into the hair, and the left eye badly pulled off as well.  I'll try to touch it up with paint, I don't know if I'll find a better one.

I also got a Sparkle Girlz fashion that seemed made just for her.  Despite being a bit crudely made, SG have some relatively on-trend fashions.

The darts are placed symmetrically, but look a bit off because of the print.

Fashionistas #69 Blue Beauty!

I got her, woo hoo!  I'm so happy with her, she has a perfect face.  If I don't get any more dolls from this wave, I'll still be happy.

My only complaint is the face does have a few defects.  There's a bit of dark detritus in the plastic on her right cheek.  There are also some dark specks around the lips, I'm not brave enough to swab it with acetone and find out if it can come off.  It's not bad enough to really detract from the doll.
