Wal-Mart LIV score

The LIV playsets all ended up deeply discounted, pretty much everywhere.

I feel sorry for Spin Master. For years, parents have complained that companies only make fashion-based playsets and dolls. The problem is, nobody buys action playsets when they are released.

I picked up the cabana and windsurfer for my Gloom Beach girls.

I managed to pass over Sydney Opera House Barbie. She's a bit more interesting than the promo pictures make her look, but I don't need another blonde Mackie-faced doll. I have to draw the line somewhere.

Wal-Mart confuses me with their clearance prices. The Dynasty Doll and Opera House were 23.00 at the stores in my area. The Liv Sets were 7.00. Go figure.

Walmart is never consistent thru the chain. Come to think of it neither is Target. My stores either didn't have them on clearance or they were the same as Frannie's. The Kayak and Windsurfer set are $7. I did buy a couple of Jake's for $9. The clothes are all still regular price.

I just want the new outfits which I haven't seen yet

At my home Wal-Mart, the LIV playsets are still full price. They also want $8 more for the Monster High 3-pack. They never even got the Opera House. I'm glad I can travel a bit and pick up new stuff.
