This was my 3rd quarter purchase from Barbie Collector. They've recently bumped up shipping, and the lowest is now $9.95 or some such. I don't think I will renew next year, at this point you're paying $25 for effectively $40 in discounts. There are no more advance "sneak peeks," the forums are a wasteland, and the shop seems to intentionally not stock enough of many of the Pink Label dolls. I've been a member since 2007 or 2008, so it feels bad to abandon it, but I think it has abandoned me.
Anyway, the doll is good. She has the goddess face, and even though I'm tired of it in general, this one is soft and pretty. She's apparently the same color as
AA LSU, but I've misplaced mine and can't confirm. The
official photos make her look lighter than she is, she's a shade darker than SIS Trichelle.
The eyes are centered, the paint is good. I can't complain about anything except the lack of an articulated body. I'll toss the fashion on eBay eventually. The next on my list is the
Oklahoma girl with the 1990s era friend face. I hope this line continues, they are OK, but I haven't been blown away by any Barbie dolls since the
2.5 Basics.
