It bugs me that they won't stock more reasonably priced Collector dolls, but did stock this set. And somebody beat up the boxes immediately, so they won't sell. Which means the store will stock even fewer Collector dolls in the future.

Congrats on your find. As long as Wal-Mart has some competition, hope remains that they'll continue to sell the special Barbies.
Maybe they'll just lock them up in glass cabinets the way they do spray paint? Sad though that they'd have to do so at all.
The only time I see a deal at Walmart is when they have an additional 50% off the red sticker price. Better deals on Barbies at Big Lots and Tuesday Morning.
Walmart's clearance hasn't had any real clearance prices for a while. I usually wait for sales and can do really well on prices.
I'm pretty sure they'll continue to have collector dolls since they do seem to sell. I have seen a couple of messed up boxes but the majority seem to be uncrushed (new word)
I actually want this green dress, but I'm waiting on a few more price drops. They seem to barely mark down dolls these days.
