Jessie hanging out

I took down her hair, unfortunately there's not much to work with.  I had forgotten how few poses the bellybutton body is capable of.  Somebody small and squeaky grew very jealous of the doll, so the photography was over quickly.

Wiggles seems to understand the concept of a doll, and that any doll is a rival for attention and affection.  She doesn't need to witness a specific doll getting attention, she can differentiate any doll from other random inanimate objects.  Sometimes I catch her studying their faces.

Frustrating week

It's been a frustrating week. When it rains, it really pours. Frustration piled on top of frustration. I wish it would rain literally, it's steamy hot on top of everything else.

But I feel a bit better, after capturing Wiggles in an unladylike pose.

Wiggles turns 1

The problem with catching a feral kitten is you never know when to celebrate its birthday. I just have to guess it was around the middle of this month, maybe later.

I wish I had taken more baby pictures, but she was such a mess. She scraped her nose trying to escape the wildlife trap I used, a bot fly made a mess of her neck, and the vet had to shave her to remove it. She never let it get her down.

She's such a busy girl. She loves being outside more than anything else. She likes to play with her best friend, Nosy. Nosy hasn't been a kitten since 1997 or 1998, but Wiggles helps her forget that.

Easter

Today I started taking pictures of stuff I need to post on eBay. It takes more time than I had expected. I'm not even halfway done.

I saved up my Coke reward points and finally had enough to get a free Harpers Bazaar subscription. I wouldn't read it otherwise, but it's free. And free is good.

I could doll all day...

...except sometimes it's so rewarding to be distracted.

Wiggles 2

I love my kitten. She brightens up every day.
