Once I had her out in the sun, I realized something was amiss. Some kind of stain has formed all over her pants. I suspect machine oil from the factory has oxidized. I can't sell it in this condition, I might as well take her out and enjoy her, and wash the clothes.
At least the doll is cute, and wasn't expensive.

I have that outfit and I like it! I have the older Mattel doll who can now fit this outfit because she is on a Fashionista body. Maybe you can wash the outfit and still sell it at loose doll price.
It really is a pretty fashion. You're right, I can probably still sell the nude doll itself.
What I like about NRFB collecting is being able to open a new doll without going out to get one.
Sometimes, though, dolls fall apart.
I don't think I've had that problem, yet. I'm sure it will come some day.
You could have sold her AS IS. I've found dolls in my NRFB pile that have issues. I list them for sale and detail the problem for the new owner. I haven't had any problems so far doing this.
I sold off a few Disney dolls last year. I did keep my Pocahontas, & Mulan dolls though :)
