Dollstown Estella and Estella Boy twins

I'm still working away.  I'm mostly finished with Estella and her brother, the Estella Boy.

I'll soon own a brand new Janome Sewist 500.  It's all mechanical, and has adjustable presser foot pressure, which I feel is necessary for sewing small fussy things.  It has fewer features than my old machine, but I didn't want to pay more than $300.  There are cheaper machines with more goodies, but this looked like the most reliable one for the money.

Once I've sold some miscellaneous doll stuff, I'd like to make a big TaoBao accessories order through a shopping service.  Prices are usually half to a third that of eBay and western resellers, and there are so many more products available.  Several shops offer "small iris" options on their eyes.
